LG Australia appoints new category marketing manager

By Grant Shepherd

SYDNEY: LG Australia has officially announced the appointment of Stan Bilinski as their new category marketing manager.

Bilinski has over 20 years of experience in the industry, working in various sales and marketing roles at Unilever, Pfizer, Pharmacia, Johnson & Johnson and most recently Novartis, where he was marketing manager for their eye care division.

The new role will require Bilinski to manage LG’s audio and IT categories as well as oversee their corporate communications activities like PR, CSR and events.

“I’m really excited to be joining one of Australia’s leading consumer electronics companies, especially in this challenging economic climate. I believe the global sales and marketing experience I have gained during my career will help me take the LG brand forward and maximise on continued growth in this region” said Bilinski

Mr Soon Kwon, managing director at LG Australia, commented that he was enthusiastic about Bilinski joining the team and “I feel confident the appointment will help take LG through its next growth phase.”

LG hopes that Bilinski will help to further strengthen their marketing division and expand LG’s presence in the consumer electronics market place.
