TEAC appoints new CEO, moves premises

TTA Holdings Limited, the owner of the TEAC brand of consumer electronics, has appointed a new chief executive officer. The new CEO is former TEAC general manager James Phoon.

In a statement released today, a TEAC spokesperson said, “James Phoon joined TEAC on 31 October 2006 as its General Manager when the control of TEAC Australia passed from TEAC Corporation Japan to Singapore-listed TT International Limited (TTI). TTI has since restored profitability of TEAC Australia following a major restructuring and repositioning of the company.”

The statements also confirms that Phoon is now also the CEO of TTA Holdings Limited.
