Canon announces new brand manager

Canon Australia has announced that Judd Marcello has been appointed the new brand manager – digital video, consumer image products group (CIPG) marketing.

Marcello, who completed his MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Business in 2006, was previously a Canon category manager. Before that, Marcello worked in marketing in the United States, at Black & Decker, Welch Foods and Groupe Danone.

Talking about this appointment is CIPG assistant general manager – marketing, Darren Ryan.

“I am thrilled to make this internal appointment to capitalise on Judd’s understanding of Digital Video and proven experience in category management at Canon,” said Ryan.

In this new role, Marcello will be responsible for the direction of Canon’s digital video business.

“Canon is a great company to work for with a portfolio of leading brands that would excite and inspire any marketing professional,” said Marcello.
