Westinghouse trucking on with new co-ordinated kitchen range

Westinghouse roadshow truck

By Martin Vedris

SYDNEY: A Westinghouse-branded truck is making its way around Australia to promote the new Westinghouse co-ordinated kitchen range.

Retailers and commercial customers have been invited to see the traveling show and learn more about the company’s new e-learning platform which is currently being trialed at 35 stores nationally (primarily The Good Guys and Retravision Western).

Head of Electrolux Major Appliances Asia Pacific, Gunilla Nordström and senior vice president, Human Resources & Organisational Development for Electrolux Major Appliances Asia Pacific, Shirley Xu attended the Sydney Showground event on June 4.

Director of sales, Mike Putt said, “Despite driving rain, over 320 customers packed the Sydney event to capacity … demonstrating our strong customer relationships. Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Sydney have all been resounding successes with great attendance from both retail and commercial customers.

Remaining dates for the show are:

Mon 16 June Adelaide Showgrounds, Ridley Centre

Tue 17 June Dudley Park, Adelaide – Staff Only

Wed 25 June Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, Pavilion 1

TBC Moorebank Operations Centre

Sheila Walthoe, senior trade marketing manager said, “It’s been a great team effort — and now the show is on the road! We now have an impressive yet integrated space that clearly demonstrates the flexibility and efficiency of the new Westinghouse range.”
