Convoy International hires new SA, West Vic and NT area manager

By Martin Vedris

ADELAIDE: Convoy International has hired a new area manager for South Australia, Western Victoria and the Northern Territory — Pete Morris — who will be based in Adelaide.

Morrris has considerable experience in the local consumer electronics market having held previously positions at Hitachi Australia, HiFi Acoustics, VAF Research and Scan Audio.

According to a statement from Convoy International today, Morris will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing dealers through ‘hands on’ support, training, promotions and other initiatives within his territory.

Morris is also charged with managing the distribution of Convoy’s brand portfolio of Bowers & Wilkins, Classé, Harman Kardon, JBL Home and Car Audio, Monster Cable and OmniMount.

“Pete is an exceptional addition to the Convoy Sales team” said Convoy International managing director, Alex McInnes.

“I am confident he will build successful partnerships across our customer base.”

Morris’ interests include soccer, cricket, football and family.
