Panasonic appoints national business sales manager

By Chris Nicholls

SYDNEY: Panasonic Australia has appointed former WA and SA sales manager Barry Armstrong as their new Business Systems Group national AV/IT sales manager.

The appointment means Armstrong will now work with the AV/IT sales team to increase commercial plasma and business projector sales numbers.

Panasonic Business Systems Group director, Mark Deere-Jones, said: “The strategic importance of emerging markets such as digital signage and Panasonic’s leading position sees us strengthen the AV/IT team to maximise business opportunities. Barry has the extensive sales experience essential for this key role.”

Armstrong previously worked out of Panasonic’s Perth office, but will now be based in Sydney. He previously held senior sales management roles for companies such as Vodafone and Brightpoint.
