Laser appoints Carla D'Alessandro as Retail Business Manager

By Martin Vedris

SYDNEY: Laser Corporation continues to strengthen its sales team with the appointment of the experienced Carla D'Alessandro as retail business manager.

This appointment follows the recent move to hire Dina Murphy as sales general manager. Murphy’s previous roles included senior positions at Fuji Xerox, Computer Associates and Virgin Mobile.

In a statement, Laser Corporation said that D’Alessandro was appointed to manage some of the company’s key retail partners and that her background is in consumer electronics and in retail, working for companies such as Creative Labs and Ingram Micro, where she “thrived on the one on one contact and building relationships”.

D’Alessandro told Current.com.au today that she was looking forward to her new challenge of building the retail presence of Laser products.

“It’s a quality product at a good price point,” D’Alessandro said. “The key to building the distribution is speaking to the right people at the right time and building relationships. I have contacts in the industry from my previous roles and I am looking forward to building those relationships and forming new ones.”

Laser Corporation stated that D’Alessandro, “enjoys the challenges and fast pace of the retail sales environment, her strength in prioritising, satisfaction of sealing the deal and her love of team sports and being a team player will blend well with the Laser team.”
