Sony launches online Alpha resource centre

By Chris Nicholls

SYDNEY: Sony Australia has launched a new online resource for DSLR photographers called the Alpha Centre on its official website.

The Centre offers customers tutorials on key areas, live forums and tips and techniques from professionals on how to improve their photography. Customers can also upload their photos to a gallery and discussion forums, while a pre-uploaded range of photos taken by Alpha users will be available for download. The site will also contain information on special events, promotions and competitions.

“The Alpha Centre is designed to foster a community where professional photographers can share their knowledge, whilst also enabling proficient imaging enthusiasts to learn more about digital SLR technology and improve their photography skills,” said Sony Australia DSLR business development manager, John Wallace.

The Alpha Centre will offer information and advice on choosing the right camera body and a ‘Lens Filter’ has been created to enable users to select the right lens depending on their requirements.
