Asus appoints new distributor
SYDNEY, NSW: Asus Australia has today announced the appointment of Altech as its new distributor in Australia and New Zealand for all Open Platform products, including motherboards, VGA, servers and monitors.
Talking about this is Asus open platform business group manager Eric Chang.
“Asus is committed to providing choice and value to the channel and its resellers. The partnership with Altech strengthens our channel strategy for 2010, allowing us to expand to more regional areas and continue to provide high quality service across Australia and New Zealand,” Chang said.
On the Altech side, managing director Antony Sheen said the partnership was a good fit for both companies.
“With the Asus brand synonymous with quality and performance, it perfectly complements Altech’s existing product offering in the high-end gaming, enthusiast and performance computing markets.
“Altech’s commitment to deliver leading edge products to these market segments is significantly enhanced by the addition of Asus motherboards, graphic cards, sound cards, optical drives and monitors to the Asus notebooks, servers, barebone and network products we have been distributing in the past.”
